Mary Blair

Mary Blair (October 21, 1911 – July 26, 1978), born Mary Robinson, was an American artist who was prominent in producing art and animation for The Walt Disney Company, drawing concept art for such films as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Song of the South and Cinderella.
Blair also created character designs for enduring attractions such as Disneyland's It's a Small World, the fiesta scene in El Rio del Tiempo in the Mexico pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase, and an enormous mosaic inside Disney's Contemporary Resort.
Several of her illustrated children's books from the 1950s remain in print, such as I Can Fly by Ruth Krauss.
Blair was inducted into the prestigious group of Disney Legends in 1991. (Which makes me whine about gender equality again... but... I'll keep my mouth shut. At least they DID recognize her value.)

Autumn Fairy by M.T. Ross

M.T. Ross, who was affectionately nicknamed "Penny", was an illustrator and comic artist in the early twentieth century. He lived in Oak Park, Illinois and had his studio in downtown Chicago. He was one of the first co-workers of Walt Disney, as well as a close friend of R.F. Outcault, with whom he developed 'Buster Brown'. M.T. "Penny" Ross moved to Southern California in 1926 to work for RKO and other studios as a set designer.

Some randomness

I'm a bad girl...
2014 one post - whining
2015 two posts - one more whining, the other one about an illustrator...
Sorry.
And it's already June 2016. I'm sorry for all my followers for the recent lousy quality, I'll try to get better.

So - This is Mirri, a warrior cat, from the cover of Duelist 17 from 1997, and I think the artist is Daren Bader.

3/12-23 Correction, the artist is Dermot Power.
